Oscar was brought into our rehabilitation program November 2, 2015.  He was suffering an extreme case of starvation and neglect.  Slowly but surely with closely monitored feed and care, he is turning the corner.  We have been very lucky with his health and re-feeding only encountering minor setbacks and starvation induced secondary concerns.  We love his spunk and personality and can't wait for his full recovery.

6/21/16 Update - Oscar is ready for adoption!!  He had his professional riding evaluation last week and is VERY well trained.  Oscar will need a home that is experienced with hard keepers, but he is such a treasure, so grateful for every minute spent caring for him, and will make a wonderful partner.  Applications are currently being accepted!  See his riding photos under todays blog, and also visit Pasco Kahlotus Ranch for videos under saddle.
