Available for Adoption

Annie is a beautiful redheaded sweetheart that was an auction intercept for us at the Hermiston Horse Sale in October 2016.  We picked Annie out from the horses in their pens before the sale, she was really thin, super depressed, feet a mess, and looked like she had given up.  We were sure she would be our compassion pull.  Once she entered the ring with the littlest cowgirl on board, we aggressively bid against the only people bidding on her...the dreaded kill buyers.  We won her, and now she has won our hearts.  She was sick through quarantine and continued to be depressed, but somewhere along the way this sweet sorrel mare realized that she did in fact have a reason to live, started eating better, started interacting with us.  Now that the soaked hay and beet pulp pellets, equine senior, joint supplements and weight gain supplements have kicked in, she is rounding out.  She's at a weight were we will take her in for her dental exam on December 2nd, and then she will be available for adoption.  Here you see one of our "Jr" members taking her for a spin and providing us with her professional riding evaluation.  Annie was reported to be 15 years old, she is 14.2hh, and as you can see child safe.  If you are interested in this doll of a horse, please download an adoption application and get in touch with us.
